20:23. کیونکہ بنی عمون اور موآب اور کوہِ شعیر کے باشندوں کے مقابلہ میں کھڑے ہو ئے کہ اُن کو بالکل تہِ تیغ اور ہلاک کریں اور جب وہ شعیر کے باشندوں کا خاتمہ کر چُکے تو آپس میں ایک دوسرے کو ہلاک کرنے لگے۔

20:23. The Ammonites and Moabites attacked the men from Mount Seir and annihilated them. When they had finished off the men of Seir, they attacked and destroyed one another.

20:23. The armies of Moab and Ammon turned against their allies from Mount Seir and killed every one of them. After they had destroyed the army of Seir, they began attacking each other.

20:23. For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
